The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), has awarded J. Schwartz,llc, in conjunction with JFA Architecture, PC a meritorious award for the best Kitchen remodel under $40,000Although it is always great to receive the awards that we have for projects with large budgets, this is an especially precious award because it shows that we can design and build a beautiful kitchen within a tight budget; which in some ways is even more challenging.
The kitchen includes new cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures, and lighting; as well as handcrafted wainscot in the adjacent family room.

J. Schwartz,llc has recently been named a TOP 500 Remodeler for 2010 by Qualified Remodeler Magazine. This is the second year in a row that we have received this honor, and we plan on making this award a habit. The title of the Awards article is “TOP 500 REMODELERS STAY THE COURSE, Times may be difficult, but leaders demonstrate their resilience.”
We are once again honored, and look forward to reaching and surpassing the efforts and outcomes that allowed us this award.

As many of you know (because we asked for your help), on September 22, 2010, J. Schwartz,llc put together a group of friends, neighbors, clients, and family, to walk in (and raise money for) the “Walk for the Wounded”, Delaware County, PA. It was a great day – and an emotional one. There was food, face-painting (as you can see from the photo), and plenty of military displays.
Soldiers that were recently injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan made speeches, the family’s of the fallen read poems, and we walked to show that those that have been injured in our name and defense do not “walk alone”. It certainly did not hurt that the Eagles cheerleaders made an appearance, and the US Coast Guard flew in and landed a helicopter only feet from where we were sitting.
Our fundraising goal was $1000.00 and we managed to beat that goal by $65.00. Next year we will be striving for $3000.00, and hope to far exceed that amount with the help of everyone that we know.

We have been published in the WALL STREET JOURNAL, HOME AND GARDEN MAGAZINE, QUALIFIED REMODELER MAGAZINE, and others – and these are just the ones in 2008-2009!

Dream Home Awards are presented to those companies and individuals who assist in creating America’s Dream Homes and set new standards of excellence in the Nation’s Building Industry. The competition is open to interior designers, architects, builders, remodelers, communities and trade contractors. Firms from across all 50 states are considered for custom home products, interior design, commercial and mixed-use projects as well as the prestigious Community of the Year, Home of the Year, Community Service of the Year. The Dream Home Awards also awards individual trades for unique products and services assisting the building process.
J. Schwartz,llc is proud to have been considered for and won this prestigous award.

J. Schwartz,llc was again honored for excellence in the Home Building and Remodeling Industry by the Home Builders Association. On Friday March 6, 2009 the Association held its annual black-tie Pinnacle Awards to recognize outstanding achievement in the industry. Although the competition was some of the largest home-builders in the country, J. Schwartz,llc was awarded with TWO Pinnacle awards – One for the Best Bathroom Design by a Builder, the other for the Best Remodel. We are proud of those that helped us achieve these awards, proud of the projects and thankful to our clients.

J. Schwartz,llc recently completed a new custom 9500 Square foot home located in Lafayette Hill and was awarded a Pinnacle Award from the Home Builders Association for the Master Bathroom in this project. The entire project took only 8 months including the tear down and total removal of the existing home! The new home is complete with 5 full and 1 half bath, with a 6th full bath ready for completion in the basement.
The stone home uses the latest in energy conserving spray insulation, windows, heating and air conditioning systems. The finishes include wide-plank Oak Flooring, full height panelling, true Craftsman style columns and trim-work, a gourmet kitchen and full in-law suite.

J. Schwartz,llc received the Contractor of the Year Award 2009 from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry for the entire Northeast Region of the United States and is being considered for the national award.  The winners of the National Title will be annouced at the end of March in Atlanta.
